Looking for the perfect fall pumpkins with some extra fun? Schuster’s Farm, located in Deerfield, Wisconsin, has the best selection! It’s 20 minutes from Madison and an hour from Milwaukee. Not only can you pick pumpkins, you can feed goats and play in the backyard where there are plenty of activities! Here’s what we did.
This was our second visit to Schuster’s Farm and it was filled with memories! I’d plan this visit for some time, waiting for the fall season to start. As soon as the farm opened for the fall festivities, you bet we were there!
The moment we arrived, we picked our pumpkins from the batch that was picked beforehand. I got a white pumpkin, Shiina got a creamy orange pumpkin, and Valkyrie got a small orange pumpkin. We chose to pick pumpkins first because we forgot to last year. We didn’t want to miss out again!
After selecting the perfect pumpkins, we ordered wristbands for backyard activities and apple cider donuts. We ate them so quickly that I forgot to take a photo! Then, we were off for some fun!
We visited the farm animal areas, our favorite spot! For 25 cents, we fed the goats and got to pet them. They were so friendly. Valkyrie absolutely loved it! She was a natural.
You can enjoy a wagon ride to the pumpkin patch and pick your own pumpkins as well. We picked a green pumpkin at the patch to bring home with the others. This was a great experience for us! I don’t think Valkyrie rode in a wagon before, so she was soaking it all in! We rode by the beautiful flowers and through the haunted forest, making our way back to the start.
