Earlier in May, we had our baby shower. It was the sweetest moment. I’ve looked forward to our baby shower for months! I couldn’t wait to see loved ones again and to celebrate the life of our firstborn.
We want to thank everyone for celebrating with us! We appreciate all the support, gifts, and love. We’ve received much more than we could’ve imagined. Baby Thor is all set to go! We’re only a few weeks away, although she could come any day now! Thank you to everyone for celebrating my husband’s birthday with us as well and for keeping it such a great secret!
Our baby shower was unintentionally scheduled the day before Mother’s Day. It was the perfect weekend. Parenthood is a new journey for me and it felt amazing to celebrate Mother’s Day along with other parents. It was a big realization of who I was becoming and that I shared this new part of myself with others. Although I’ve always appreciated the parents in my life on this day and everyday, I had a newfound appreciation. I’m looking forward to more experiences as a new parent!
